Hello I am Pien! My trinkets were purely coincidence. I am inspired by enthusiastic
people and I always try to be somewhere where I might meet such people.
During a visit to Amsterdam I went to a gallery where recycled materials were
shown. That was the first time I discovered the phenomenon inner tube. I saw a
necklace made of this material, I liked it very much but I got the idea that I
could do more with it. I could sell every necklace and bracelet I was wearing
right away. All these nice reactions appealed to my enthusiasm and made me
extend my collection. I am a self-taught woman and making trinkets gives me
a creative kick.
